Dr. La Plante earns NSF CAREER award

January 27, 2022 – Dr. La Plante earns an NSF Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) award to discover new cements based on magnesium silicate hydrates. The $576,560 award will fund fundamental research into the kinetics of magnesium silicate hydrate growth and organization and resulting mechanical and chemical properties. See news release
